About the Artist

I was drawn to weaving when I began babywearing my daughter. The first time I touched a handwoven wrap, I knew I wanted to learn more about it. The beautiful textures, intricate patterns and stunning colors captivated me. I bought my first loom shortly after and have been learning all I can about the art form since!

I enjoy using high quality and unique fibers and fiber blends in my handwoven textiles. I have also come to love the art of hand dyeing yarn and fibers as part of my process. I take inspiration from the world around me, a poem, a story or scene and interpret it through color, texture and weave structure, transforming the fibers into functional art pieces.

I find weaving to be an almost meditative process. I feel peace, happiness and joy when I sit at my loom, and I hope that each of my pieces brings those feelings to the recipient.
